In late 2020, Purdue University became the new administrative home for NIEE, ushering in an exciting new chapter in the organization’s history. Board Transitions and Appointments – June 2026
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Neslihan Alp has been elected to the NIEE Board. Dr. Alp currently serves as Dean of the College of Engineering, Technology, and Management at Oregon Institute of Technology (Oregon Tech). Drs. Angela Bielefeldt, Monte Phillips, and Mario Ricozzi have also been re-appointed as NIEE board members. Additionally, we sincerely thank outgoing board member K. N. Gunalan for his long record of service to NIEE.
